Tyson Fury's father brags, says son will knock out Anthony Joshua in first round

World heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury's father, John Fury has insisted that his son will knock out fellow British fighter, Anthony Joshua in the first round when both boxers contest next year.
John said this during an interview with BT Sport.
Recall that Fury and Joshua had agreed on a two-fight deal in principle to fight twice in 2021 to crown the undisputed heavyweight world champion.
"Anthony Joshua will think he's fighting an eel in cold water, he won't be able to touch Tyson, and he will hit him that hard his heart will go," John said.
"It will be a more relaxed night than Deontay Wilder.
"I will retake all bets; in the first round Tyson will come out jabbing, slipping and sliding and bang! Joshua will fall to pieces after the first right hand because he will know he can't beat this man.

"I'm not just saying that because he's my son, I tell it as I see it; they're all terrified of Tyson."

Details of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury deal for two fights revealed

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed a 50-50 split for their first fight in 2021, the Daily Mail reports. There will, however, be a 10 percent jump going into the rematch. That means the sharing formula will change to 60-40 for the second fight. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn and Fury's co-promoter Frank Warren have confirmed that progress has been made in talks over the double-header, especially the money part. However, there is still a lot of work to be done in making the fight. First, Fury and Joshua must first come through bouts with Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev respectively. There is also the political tangle of Dillian Whyte's status as mandatory challenger for Fury's WBC title and unresolved discussions about the venue and date.
