Eight EPL clubs risk UEFA punishment after crossing FFP threshold

Eight Premier League clubs have crossed UEFA's Financial Fair Play threshold, the UK Mirror reports.
This is contained in the Annual Review of Football Finance published by Deloitte, examining clubs' expenditure and revenue.
The review from the 2018/2019 season, showed that eight top-flight clubs are above the 70% warning threshold stipulated by UEFA.
Among them are Bournemouth, Everton and Leicester, who reported salaries to revenue ratios of 85%, 85% and 83% respectively.
It is the first time since the 2015/2016 campaign there is more than one Premier League club with a ratio of more than 80%.
Chelsea, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Fulham (who have since been relegated) were the other clubs to report figures above 70%.

Real Madrid vs Eibar ended 3-1 as Los Blancos returned to La Liga with a not too convincing win over their opponents. All three goals were scored in the first half through Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo as Pedo Bigas pulled one back for Eibar in the second half. Eden Hazard was the star of the show in the first 45 minutes as the Belgian was a handful for the Eibar defence with his mesmerizing moves. Liverpool FC have secured their first top-flight English league title since 1990, which is a 19th league success in their history and a first in the Premier League era. The Jurgen Klopp inspired side clinched the title on Thursday night, without kicking a ball, thanks to Manchester City who lost to Chelsea at Stamford bridge. The Reds have been the dominant team throughout the 2019/20 campaign, winning 27 of their 29 league games to pull 25 points clear at the top of the table before the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Details of Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury deal for two fights revealed

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed a 50-50 split for their first fight in 2021, the Daily Mail reports. There will, however, be a 10 percent jump going into the rematch. That means the sharing formula will change to 60-40 for the second fight. Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn and Fury's co-promoter Frank Warren have confirmed that progress has been made in talks over the double-header, especially the money part. However, there is still a lot of work to be done in making the fight. First, Fury and Joshua must first come through bouts with Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev respectively. There is also the political tangle of Dillian Whyte's status as mandatory challenger for Fury's WBC title and unresolved discussions about the venue and date.

Taiwo Awoniyi was taken off with a stretcher to the hospital during Mainz Bundesliga 1-0 defeat to Augsburg. The on loan Liverpool striker was involved in a clash of heads with a German-born of Nigerian descent Felix Uduokhai. The collision with the defender ended in a nasty fall for Awoniyi who was immediately attended to by medical staff on ground. After a few minutes' delay, the 22-year-old had a brace put on his neck as the forward was taken off the pitch and went straight to the hospital. Reports from German claim that the Nigerian U23 international was responding to treatment at the hospital.
