Chelsea have completed a £47.5 million move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The forward was being chased by Jurgen Klopp, but when the Reds decided not to activate his release clause, the Blues swooped in.
Werner's excellent strike against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Wednesday night was his 26th Bundesliga goal of the season and gave Chelsea fans a taster of what they can come to expect.
The transfer is a done deal and after agreeing on personal terms, the 24-year-old has now put pen to paper on a five-year contract worth £170,000 a week.
Frank Lampard is said to have been instrumental in the negotiations, with he and Petr Cech travelling to Leipzig to convince him of a move before the coronavirus lockdown.

Werner is even willing to miss out on the rest of Leipzig's Champions League games in order to get to Stamford Bridge quicker and has informed the club of his desire to do so.
Chelsea's transfer business may not be done there, with the club also keen on recruiting Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz and Leicester City's Ben Chilwell.
